PL locking plates are locking devices, used to secure N lock nuts onto a shaft or adapter sleeve and prevent unintentional loosening. The locking plates engage a keyway in the shaft or adapter sleeve. Two bolts, secured with a locking wire, attach the locking plates to the side face of the lock nut. A new locking plate should be used each time the corresponding lock nut is installed.
